A场18洞占地1800亩，18洞全长7365码。占地之大，球道之长在北京首屈一指。球场以保护原生态、回归自然为宗旨，充分利用地形、地貌，同时吸收苏格兰球场的设计风格，使球场与自然环境浑然一体，磅礴大气。大土方量作业增加了球道的起伏，使这个建在华北平原的球场可以给人丘陵球场的体验；多个人工湖的建造，有给人湖畔球场的享受。球场内保留着原生柳树、野生芦苇、小红柳和野生长草，又栽种大片桃、梨、苹果等果树和数十种花木，春天姹紫嫣红，夏天绿茵匆匆，秋天硕果累累，既充满野性又不失精致。
