Kunshan Sun Island was built on industrial wasteland and is one of the largest Sun Island courses, offering 27 holes in total. Not offering much in terms of water features, the course excels in bunkers - numbering double digits on some holes. The club is honest about the sometime lack of vegetation, and based on what they've planted, the course should become more diverse and lush over time.
