Enhance Anting Golf Club
Set in an industrial zone, the construction of Enhance Anting Golf Club provided a real challenge for the architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and his team. They needed to create a private and secluded club in a relatively flat and congested location. Their solution was to dig down and use the excess soil to build hills and mounds. The irrigation water contains toxic levels of pollutants and needs to be filtered before reaching the course. The club boasts an advanced drainage system, allowing the course to drain quickly and be playable even during rainy season.

The Course
A rolling course set in an industrial area, it has a relatively open parkland design with large man-made water features and dramatic bunkers. Surrounded by cedar, camphor, and magnolia trees, it offers a secluded feel in an urban setting. A compact course layout with many direction changes, the wind forcefully comes into play and demands concentrated play.
